Dan Baldwin is one of a new breed of British artists giving the establishment a much needed kick up the arse. His work acts like an incendiary device in a crowded room, dealing with life, death, politics and religion, it screams out and demands that you listen. Although primarily a painter, Baldwin also produces pieces of sculpture and ceramics - each one unique, unmatched and sinister. Mixing traditional painting techniques with found objects such as bullets, butterflies, vintage toys, dollar bills, war memorabilia and crucifixes, his work blends many genres and becomes something very special.
