Vic Reeves: Birds and their Interactions with Humans

This exciting exhibition presents a collection of 12 limited edition lithographs, by legendary TV comedian and artist Vic Reeves, entitled ‘Birds of the UK and other stuff’.

Reeves’ art combines the mundane and surreal with characterisically amusing, yet often bizarre results. With unusual and quirky subjects such as ‘Rudolf Nureyev imitating a smew as it passes over his house in the directions of the railway lines’, these surreal works are a playfully distorted illustration of the familiar, held together by the striking stylistic tact and control of the artist.
